i came back to my room, only to discover that my roomy had left me all by myself. i am looking forward on a quiet weekend, filled with lectures on early saturday morning (he, did you notice, i was being ironic there?) and bachelor in the evenings.

I'd start thinking that I have some kind of superpower - that can travel in space and time, the same way heroe Hiro did (and does), if you know what I'm talking about :D
But still, I'd join you and call it a moment of the day as well. Sounds pretty good.
